Three weeks from today I am going to be stepping on a plane about to emark on my first ever journey off the continent... and I am so excited!For those of you who don't know, I will be spending a year in an orphanage in Montero, Bolivia with the Salesian Lay Missioners. I will be helping to care for 120 little girls, babies through high school! This is why this blog is titled "120 and Counting"; I figure that this will be the only time in my life that I will ever have 120 children at one time, so I might as well make the most of it. :)
I will be posting as often as I can, because I want you to be a part of things and to share this adventure with me.
Oh, and one minor side note... there will be occasional pictorial appearances of a stuffed cat, namely one "Little Chrissy." These are intended for one very particular eight year old back home. (Plus, I just enjoy a chance to do something random and crazy...) :)
